What is Streamlined?
Streamlined is a newsletter that summarises and analyses events in the film & streaming content industries outside of the Americas and Europe - i.e. Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
While these regions do get covered by the US trades, this coverage often gets lost in the firehose of Hollywood and Europe-focused content. Streamlined delivers a periodic overview in an easily digestible format, along with original reporting, all in one place.
Streamlined’s ethics policy
Streamlined is also an attempt to create a publishing model that is free from the influence of advertising. When and if Streamlined ever enters into a commercial partnership, that relationship will be clearly explained. Streamlined doesn’t cover a topic because it’s being paid to do so by a film festival or film commission.
